This magnificent 15th century Italian mahzor, or festival prayer book, includes a Haggadah section. On display is a page from the mahzor with an illustration of an olive tree to exemplify the word "maror" (bitter herbs). “Maror” symbolizes bitterness of the Egyptian oppression.
