Isaac and Rosa.

Emancipated children respectively from Louisiana and New Orleans enrolled in a school established in New Orleans for the education of Black people. Taken to Philadelphia and New York to be photographed, as part of a fund-raising campaign to support the education of Blacks. Aged eight and seven when this photograph was taken in 1863.
