Julie Carlsen: Hi, I’m Julie Carlsen.

Julie Golia: And I’m Julie Golia.

Carlsen: Together, we curated A Century of the New Yorker, an exhibition here at The New York Public Library that explores one hundred fascinating years of America’s most iconic magazine.

Golia: While researching and developing the exhibition, we had the opportunity to get to know and learn from brilliant, funny, and incisive New Yorker writers and staffers, past and present.

Carlsen: We thought that you should have the opportunity to hear from them too.

Golia: We are proud to welcome you to A Century of the New Yorker

Carlsen: And we know that you’ll enjoy listening to these behind-the-scenes tales of the magazine as much as we did.
